Installing Autologon add-on and server

Copy the installation file (900AutologonServer_5.0b11.tar) in the Kronodoc installation directory and run the installation script (installKronodoc). Please see the Kronodoc 5.0 Installation guide for details on add-on installations.

The installation script will query for the following parameters:

NTServerName

NTServerName is the URL of the AD Domain Controller Server

NTDomain

NTDomain is the name of the AD Domain

Autologon server port

Autologon server port is a port in the server where the Autologon server is being installed and must not be currently used by any other program or process.

The installer will then ask if SMB signatures are to be configured:

Do you want to configure SMB signatures (requires AD 2003)? [yn] (n)?

Answer y if the Domain Controller requires SMB signatures. The installer will then query for a valid username and a password that exists in the Active Directory Domain. For details on SMB signatures, please refer to documentation of Windows Server (relevant group policy: Digitally sign communications).
